Nakhalpara is one of the most densely populated areas in the capital city Dhaka.It is located in Tejgaon. Nakhalpara is divided into two parts; one is called West Nakhalpara and another one is called East Nakhalpara.

Nakhalpara is famous for its heritage. It hosts the MP Hostel, Prime Minister office, SSF Flat and Nakhalpara Hossain Ali High School.

Its coordinates are 23°46′07″N 90°23′42″E

Nakhalpara Hossain Ali School is the only high school at Nakhalpara in the Tejgaon region of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It was established in 1957. Situated on Dhaka Cantonment and Bangladesh Air Force land, Nakhalpara Baitul Atik Mosque stands beside the Air Force officers' mess hall and quarters. There are additional residential buildings nearby which are occupied by a Member of Parliament and are referred to as the "MP hostel".
